as a guest vocalist for Kuenstler Treu and Dauerfisch, as a member of the duos Sea Of Tranquility and The LaLaVox Box, as a member of the trios LaLaLand and The Space Songs, in collaboration or on her own at her YouTube channel, and occasional other stuff as well...

Once upon a time there was a duo, made up of Achim Treu and Laura Carleton (Miss LaLaVox), who released a strange and bewitching album about astronauts, angels, and tigers...

And Once upon a time this cozy trio (soprano vocals, electric guitar, double bass) played live (quite frequently) in and around the lovely city of Berlin, Germany - always ready to soothe and invigorate its inhabitants with warm and friendly jazz sounds. We never broke up actually; but we all got busy with other things and LaLaLand has been gently fading away ever since...

Jon Appleton (Professor of Electro-Acoustic Music at Dartmouth college) and Achim Treu (self-taught builder of electro-acoustic tracks) met via the internet after Achim acquired rare Appleton vinyl at an online auction. Their quite unexpected and very wonderful (electro-acoustic) collaboration is the result.

Strange and delightful music from the strangely delightful mind of Herr Tonbandmeister Achim Treu (ex-Dauerfisch / current Appleton&Treu collaborator and Der Plan v.4.0 member). You can also have a quick listen to a few samples of his strangely delightful music at his MySpace page: www.myspace.com/dauerfisch. And if you'd like to see what sort of music he's done for film and advertising along the way, then please give a look and a listen to his showreel page: www.treumedia.org/. He also does a wonderful radio show called UFO Hawaii once a month. You can find a little UFO Hawaii history here. And last but not least, Kunstler (Kuenstler) Treu news can be found at his blog page.

What ever happened to Dauerfisch?; or for some of you out there - who the heck was Dauerfisch? Answers can be found here...
